Sandwich Shoppe Partnerships!

As of spring, 2022, our community at Sandwich Shoppe has built partnerships with a few of our neighbors. We have been working with Closed Loop Farms, Middle Brow, and The Chicago Bridge Project. From these partnerships, we have ensured access to a variety of different foods to keep the Love Fridge stocked and ensure our food is made with fresh, quality ingredients.

A little bit about these companies... 

Closed Loop Farms - https://closedloop.farm
Our newest partner, Closed Loop Farms, is a microgreens and urban farm. By working with them, we are able to receive donations of microgreens and fresh produce for the Love Fridge and dishes made in Sandwich Shoppe.

Middle Brow - https://www.middlebrowbeer.com/bungalow
​Middle Brow is a local bakery. Each week, Middle Brow donates 20+ loaves of bread to the Love Fridge. A portion of this bread is used for fresh sandwiches that students have access to if they are in need of a lunch. 

The Chicago Bridge Project - https://chicagobridgeproject.org
The Chicago Bridge Project is a food and clothing donation organization. The CBP has has delivered packaged meals to the Love Fridge. Without them, we would not have the quality meals available for our neighbors in need.
